I'm a mother of two small children in Ca. and I cannot believe the stuff I am reading! Are you guys nuts! You people are actually AFRAID of gay people!? I am sickened by these so called "Christians". I WORK AT MY CHILDRENS SCHOOL AND THEY DO NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT MARRIAGE! My kids see Yes on PROP 8 signs and they want to know what they mean. Now we have opened that can of worms. So now my 9 year old wants to know why only certain people can marry. She says to me "But Mom that is not fair" and I have to tell her that there are people in this world that feel they have the right to make different rules for different people. She does not understand this. Unfortunately, I do.

Yes I do get the picture. I'm a mother of two young children and I understand what you are saying. Actually, it's kind of disturbing. "Blended Families?" My family is "Blended" as you put it. We have a strong moral base and we also teach tolerance and we teach our children to not be judgemental or hypocritical. I really think that the church is not teaching that anymore. I have the confidence of knowing that my children will grow up to wonderful adults with NO help from the church.
